As a Project Manager at P. Agnes, you will have the ultimate responsibility for managing and controlling all project activities including the coordination of all preconstruction planning functions, field activities management, coordinating work with the superintendent and project support staff, plus coordinating and managing all vendor and subcontractor activities. In addition, you are expected to achieve the specific goals for the budget, schedule and quality of each project on which you are the Project Manager.

P. Agnes, Inc. provides its services under three (3) distinct contract formats: Design-Build, Construction Management and General Contracting. The Project Manager will read the appropriate project contract and become familiar with the contract terms and conditions and will work in the best interest of P. Agnes, Inc.

Whenever applicable, the Project Manager reviews and monitors the development of design drawings providing an assessment of their effect on cost, schedule and construction feasibility. The Project Manager will work with the estimating department to develop budget estimates, trade schedules and cost analysis of alternative systems. The Project Manager coordinates scheduling, purchasing, procurement and installation of long lead items, special equipment and/or client furnished items ñ if required by contract).

The Project Manager is responsible for and will coordinate the preparation of bid packages, qualified bidders lists and subcontracts. The Project Manager will expedite, monitor and coordinate the work of all subcontractors and material suppliers as it relates to the contract documents. The Project Manager will track and review all submittals and coordinate the approval process with the architect. The Project Manager will track and review all shop drawings and coordinate the approval process with the architect and subcontractors.

The Project Manager will expedite all local, state, and federal building department and/or governmental approvals as well as any and all Department of Health requirements where applicable. The Project Manager coordinates testing and inspection, manages scope changes, directs the preparation of requisitions for payment and assists in identifying and coordinating all activities necessary for closing out of all subcontracts.





.: ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

P. Agnes, Inc. General Contractor and Construction Management firm is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager with a minimum of five (5) years experience in the commercial institutional industry.

We are looking for an individual who is eager to continue in the development of their project management skills. The position requires basic knowledge in project management including scheduling, budgeting, contract management, financial management, sub contract / vendor management and project documentation. You will assist a project manager located ìon siteî assisting with submittals, quality control work, and change order documentation. .: PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT

We are currently seeking a highly experienced individual with a minimum 10 years experience in Commercial and Healthcare construction projects. Past experience should include both New Construction and Renovations in Corporate, Educational, Healthcare and High-end privatized assignments.

Knowledge driven candidates should:

  • Have experience with projects 5 million and over.
  • Be able to generate solutions to meet construction challenges by providing leadership and coordination to ensure peak performance by subcontractors, equipment and material vendors.
  • Inspect subcontractors work daily to ensure it meets quality standards and design criteria.
  • Work in conjunction with our Project Management Team to ensure that all projects run in a smooth, and efficient manner.
  • Troubleshoot field issues, scheduling issues, MP & E Coordination, resolve subcontractor issues and, ensure impeccable job site safety practices at all times.
  • Knowledge to implement ICRA requirement levels within hospitals, administer state inspections within healthcare facilities.
  • Maintain site cost control and schedule compliance requirements.
  • Interfacing with A & E firms, client representatives to resolve job site issues.
  • Applicants to have knowledge of computers, and project management programs.

We are looking for someone with ten (10) years experience in commercial/institutional cost estimating Must have knowledge of local Philadelphia, five county area subcontractor community. Computer skills and experience with Excel are also a must.
