Glenn Manning is Vice President and Chief Estimator for P. Agnes, Inc. He is responsible for final estimates, value engineering and quality assurance on all projects. Glenn's technical expertise and marketplace savvy, permit him to astutely reduce project costs and to lock in valid price solutions from responsible subcontractors, very early in the design planning process.
Glenn will assist the project manager and project staff with pertinent information on material costs, labor costs and subcontractor liquidity and availability. As the project evolves from design concepts to final solutions, the key to success will be accurate and timely cost information, generated by Glenn in conjunction with the design staff. Since the major opportunity to impact quality, safety, performance, cost, schedule and permitting issues, occurs during design development, it is imperative to have a focus on costs as early as possible.
Glenn will assist the team in producing
a listing of cost avoidance and value
management solutions for every level of
design on this project. In addition, Glenn
will develop unit prices by trade and
square footage, to reflect accurate cost
changes that may occur during the duration
of the project. He will also suggest schedule
compaction alternatives, to reduce the
schedule duration, which will help to
lower the overall project costs.
