Project Scope:
The project consisted of multiple phases on various floors. The first floor scope of work included a level two ICRA barrier to convert an existing storage area to a new staff lounge. The area located on the second floor was an existing vacant space which a level three ICRA was required to construct a new surgery access waiting area, children’s play room, information center, and a doctor’s/residents lounge. The scope of work for this area included a new air handling unit and HVAC system, electrical upgrades, fire protection, coordination with the new equipment into the building automation system, and high end finishes including raised ceilings decorative lighting, acrylic panel wall dividers, computer work stations, coffee area and televisions throughout the space for individual viewing.
