Project Scope:
Renovations to the existing Interventional Cardiology Department including two new BI-plane labs and one single plane lab. The challenge was to construct the new space with the highest level of Infectious Disease Control, (ICRA) while subjecting the Hospital to minimal levels of disruption. This was accomplished by constructing the project utilizing a total of 17 phases and sub phases. Project details included replacement/improvement of the entire HVAC system. Significant revisions to concrete slab and overhead structure were required in order to fit the new lab equipment. Intense coordination of all equipment and system utilities was required in order to accomplish medical equipment install. This was accomplished while the suite remained fully functional and operational throughout the entire project. |
