On January 11th, two P. Agnes-constructed projects were awarded AIA New Jersey Design Competition Awards.
The Bancroft School Welsh Campus project, designed by KSS Architects and completed in early 2018, won in the Commercial, Institutional, Multi-Family category. This project featured an entire campus for the autism community including a community center with a gym and pool as well as a convenience store/training center, gathering spaces for social events, and residential buildings.
The Virtua Samson Cancer Center, designed by FCArchitects and completed in September of 2018, won in the Preservation category. This project featured a 48,000 square foot cancer center in the former site of an Acme supermarket. P. Agnes performed a complete gut/fit-out of the existing space, installed new HVAC and electric infrastructure, and implemented extensive new underground sanitary systems to accommodate the environmental and technological demands of the new cancer center.
