University of Pennsylvania

Jane and David Ott Center for Track and Field

The project includes the construction of a state-of-the-art indoor track and field facility, located on the southwest corner of the University of Pennsylvania’s campus. The Jane and David Ott Center will offer countless benefits to the University’s track and field athletes, and will feature a banked track, long and high jump pits, a throwing area, +/- 1,010 spectator seats and concession stand.

The Ott Center will offer athletes, and the larger University community, the opportunity to utilize the space during the winter months and poor weather conditions. This space will also function as a warm-up and staging area, which could improve the appeal of competing at Penn Relays and other NCAA outdoor track and field competitions. The addition of a banked track would allow the intercollegiate programs to host and compete in small indoor track and field meets.

Once complete, the new track and field center will be the only collegiate indoor facility of its kind in the greater Philadelphia region.
