Our approach to diversity is quite simple – we view it as a scope item. To us, it is as important as including all of the concrete, ductwork, and lighting in a project. With great passion and pride, P. Agnes encourages inclusiveness and equal opportunity, which regularly helps us reach our diversity goals as well as those of our clients.
When a project has a documented Economic Opportunity Plan with specific goals established, we take great pride in delivering those goals. The utilization and standardization of our approach has allowed P. Agnes to successfully meet MBE/WBE/DBE participation goals on projects for Jefferson Health, University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University, and others.
P. Agnes is proud of the continued success we have had implementing this approach for our clients and our community. We consistently look to implement new strategies to make a more substantial impact such as our creative bid packaging, community partnerships, and continued education on the importance of diversity within the construction industry.
Through the sustained efforts of our Diversity Coordinator, we have fostered a culture of inclusion that is evident on every project as well as our internal hiring procedures. At P. Agnes, we understand that regular training and workforce development is an integral part of encouraging diversity and inclusion in our own organization as well as the industry as a whole.
