University of Pennsylvania – Leidy Laboratories

The project consisted of significant HVAC upgrades to an existing, 100 year old Biology Lab Building. All existing HVAC equipment was removed and replaced in three separate construction phases. During each construction phase, 2/3 of the building remained occupied and all electric, water & HVAC systems needed to remain active. New air handlers were installed on the roof, each serving a separate wing of the building. A new heating hot water plant, chilled water plant and perimeter heating plant were installed in the basement.
